White Ribbon Campaign – UMES

On Wednesday April 25, I will be at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Campus giving a workshop entitled “Promoting Human Dignity and Respect: Tools for Self Development” as part of their White Ribbon Campaign (WRC). UMES is one of the historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) and I’m really happy to sharing my music and what I’ve learned on my life’s journey.

The Broadway Youth Center

On Friday, April 20 at 2:30 pm, I’ll facilitate a songwriting workshop at the The Broadway Youth Center (BYC). One of the programs the BYC offers is RAWR! (Radical Awesome Writers Resisting), they meet on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30 – 4 pm to develop poetry and writing skills. The Broadway Youth Center is a program of Howard Brown Health Center and community partners, offering comprehensive services to youth, ages 12-24 including a safe space for young people experiencing homelessness.
