Late last year, a good friend lent this to me and it was so kind and thought-provoking, that I got a copy for my parents.  It allowed us to talk more openly about homosexuality and the Bible and Christianity.    Its a documentary that focuses on 5 different families that have homosexual children and the different ways the parents are dealing with their children.  It has has a lot to say about what the Bible really says about homosexuality.    I encourage everyone from a Christian background to get this DVD:)

I have to tell everyone about this book because I love it… I’ve known Anton Nimblett for some time now and I’ve read a lot of his work, but this book just blew me away… I couldn’t put it down – its magical and poetic and beautiful – its like a juicy trip to the Caribbean with rich characters and stories that titillate and tantalize and surprise. Get this book now:)

I promised I would let you know when Mike’s new CD was released – its available at iTunes and amazon and just about everywhere else.  I met Mike on MySpace and we collaborated on “Spring Rain”  I’m really proud of Mike – he is now signed to Polydor/Universal and is on tour – so if you live in France, check him out:)

I saw the cover of this album in a magazine and went on the hunt for this artist. I’m glad I did because I love this CD! Corneille is an African artist and he makes soul music that is earthy and rich and smooth (just the way I like it:) My favorite song is “Heaven” – its the last track.

Pick up this film ‘Finding Me’ – Roger and all the actors did such a great job and it features two songs from my “Soul Comfort” CD – ‘Dream’ and my duet with Mike Ibrahim ‘Spring Rain’ in the love scenes. I really enjoy looking at it:)
