Thank you all so for being apart of my journey called life. I’m happy to celebrate this day with you. This year instead of receiving gifts, I want to give a gift to a little friend who wants to do so much. My friend is a little organization in a little country on the tip of South America. It’s name is SASOD and its working hard to make the lives of LGBT people there a little better. I want to do what I can to make this world better, don’t you?
As you know the proceeds to my new single go to SASOD, and to celebrate my birthday, I’ve reduced the price to $0.69. This is a one day sale of $0.69. After today the price will return to $2.99. Download now and lets spread some good around. Ordering is really simple and fast. Click the pic to buy now.
A big thank you to all of you who have already purchased this single. You took it to #3 on the CDBaby‘s Out & Proud Chart and #7 on the Smooth Reggae chart.
Thank you again for being here and celebrating my special day with me:)

In tribal societies, warriors often formed a caste or class of their own. In societies where warfare is prevalent, the entire people may be considered warriors. In these societies, war is usually related to physical territory.
However the gay warrior is not fighting for physical territory, the gay warrior is fighting for mental, emotional, and spiritual territory. The gay warrior is fighting for acceptance… for inclusion… for equality… and ultimately for the well being that winning this war brings.
“Churches say that the expression of love in a heterosexual monogamous relationship includes the physical, the touching, embracing, kissing, the genital act – the totality of our love makes each of us grow to become increasingly godlike and compassionate. If this is so for the heterosexual, what earthly reason have we to say that it is not the case with the homosexual?” – Nobel Peace Price Laureate Desmond Tutu

“We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about; our very skins…It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given.” – Nobel Peace Price Laureate Desmond Tutu
So my recent manta has been “just start.” Sometimes I look at all the tasks and goals I want to complete and that feeling starts to descend – the feeling of being overwhelmed. And then I start to do the “p” word – procrastinate… Yikes!!! But I just learnt a little secret, actually I kind of knew it all along – now I’m being reminded of it… just start… start at the beginning… start with the easiest task… start in the middle… listen to music and start… whatever just start – and get the ball rolling.
As soon as I read this, I just knew I had to share it. What a beautiful message to remember on the day that I was born. It is by no means an easy task, but I believe it is a worthwhile task – thank you for sharing this day with me and continued blessings…

People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Love them anyway!
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Do good anyway!
If you are successful, you will win
false friends and enemies.
Succeed anyway!
The good you do will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway!
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway!
What you spend years building may be
destroyed overnight.
Build anyway!
People really need help
but may attack you if you help them.
Help them anyway!
Give the world the best you have
and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway!
by Mother Teresa
“It’s about mustering the courage to care and love, and be empathetic and compassionate” – Cornel West. I’m learning more each day how much courage it really does take to care and to love unconditionally. It is easy to do the opposite, unfortunately, we all have experienced just how easy the opposite of love is.
