Sections of an Orange

I have to tell everyone about this book because I love it… I’ve known Anton Nimblett for some time now and I’ve read a lot of his work, but this book just blew me away… I couldn’t put it down – its magical and poetic and beautiful – its like a juicy trip to the Caribbean with rich characters and stories that titillate and tantalize and surprise. Get this book now:)

    From the start of Whitney Houston’s career I have been a true lover of her music. Her smooth voice and angelic sounds have always been the reason that this songstress has sustained a lasting career. Until now, I haven’t had a love for another artist, until you.

    I was recently introduced to you by a friend of mine and the first song I heard was “Love” and I was hooked. Your style is romantic and your smooth blend of harmony reminds me of other favorite groups of mine such as, Boys to Men, Soul II Soul and even a few other artists that I admire. Lauryn Hill is another artist who had a wonderful gift.

    I’ve mentioned these other artists only to say that you too have a gift. A feel for what’s real in representing both the glbt community and true love. The deep passion that you feel when listening to your music especially the song “Love” stirs something deep inside of me and speaks encouragement in such a trying time for not just the glbt community, but for all of us. Letting us know that yes, there is hope that we will find love and recognize it when we see it, and not let it go once we’ve found it.

    The video enhances the effects of love in all of the viewable visuals, the warm sun, the vivid colors of the trees and even the simple touch from one of the two men lying in bed. It was an honest portrayal that didn’t find appeal in bearing over stimulated sex scenes, which are overdone and distracting from a true artists work. I appreciate how everything tastefully came together in both sound and sight.

    I plan on purchasing all of your music and intend to follow your career.
