Michael Jackson was such an incredible artist, I just had to pay tribute to his phenomenal talent and gift. I complied some of my favorite Michael Jackson photographs and placed them to the song I believe best fits what MJJ’s life stood for.
Beautiful if his was alive he would want to meet with you and thank you I think he is smiling down on you for doing such a sweet and thoughtful thing for him Blessings to you Nhojj and your family to M.J and his family we should celebrate the lives of those who has pass and made an impact on our lives
Hey Nhojj, great tribute, so smooth, so mellow, so soothing. Just to clarify, this is trini ROn, and growing up in Trinidad as a young boy, my older cousins made me feel as if I were Michael Jackson himself. I had the afro and a little bit of the dimples, and I used to sing and perform. I didn’t inherit any of his talent though, but for a long time growing up, I identified with him.
It is up to us, the better others, to reinforce the legacy of MJ. We can’t allow the media to tear him down and use his “strangeness” as his legacy. Many geniuses do strange things. We don’t remember Elvis for his drug habit, or Frank Sinatra for his womanizing, in like manner, we have to preserve the good things MJ stood for. He was a phenomenal, magical artist. He broke color barriers, he was ‘the’ fashion icon, he took music and music videos to unchartered territory and he contributed to many charitable causes. He was a genius in his field… in fact, we should be calling him Dr. Michael Jackson, for taking his art and elevating it to the highest levels. As MJ says in one of his songs, “I never can say goodbye.”
This is is a wonderful tribute, Nhojj. Michael Jackson’s death has thought me that is is important to live a full life, and most importantly, the life of your dreams. It’s by being a dreamer that MJ brought magic and dreams in our own lives. We will always miss him and always celebrate him.
Nominated for 2 Velocity Awards. "Soul Comfort" features an impressive array of talent - Carl Evans on Keyboards (Stevie Wonder & Barry White); David Stark on Guitar (Rick James & Teena Marie); Tommy Aros on Percussion (Luis Miguel). Mastering by Robert Honablue, whose Gold and Platinum credits include Santana, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, and Miles Davis.
